Atom the Amazing Zombie Killer (2011)

Unfortunately, there wasn’t much information released about this production. The only information available is regarding it’s genre, horror/ comedy. From what I’ve found, the film does look like a low budget production. However, after watching what looked like an official trailer, I thought some people out there might enjoy it.

Cell (2011)

Cell is an upcoming Zombie film that features a new type of virus. This virus, a strange pulsating signal cell phone networks, starts a murderous epidemic when users become bloodthirsty zombies willing to eat anything. Furthermore, the only survivors, a group of people in New England, are left to deal with the aftermath. The movie is based on a novel written by Steven King.

Dead Season (2011)

Dead Season is an upcoming zombie film, in which, a group of survivors flock to an island to avoid the zombie virus. Once stranded, tensions between survivors grow as they desperately try to survive while running out of food. As instinct kicks in, the survivors turn on each in an attempt to survive. This brutal zombie film has survivors killing each other to survive in a terrain with very little food. If you’re interested in checking out the trailer, we’ve added it below.

Deadheads is an upcoming comedy, in which, two inexplicably coherent zombies travel to find one’s lost love. All while, they are being chased by a corporation that’s tracking them down for their own agenda. Overall, the film offers some laughs for those zombie fans out there. At the moment, the goon is in pre-production, which means there won’t be a trailer available. However, it is an upcoming zombie film that we thought that people might enjoy. The film features the typical plot: a girl, her jerk boyfriend, and the best friend. In this film, the best friend is going to need to do something more than just write a romantic love letter, confess his love, or stay on the friends list the rest of his life. If he wants to get the girl he’s going to have to survive, as a horde of zombies take over the world.

Zombieland 2 (2011)

Before you get excited, allow me to inform you that Zombieland 2 only has a script written, which means there is going to be some waiting before it’s actually released. However, if you are a Zombieland fan then I thought you might like to know. Unfortunately, not much information has been released about the film, and at the writing of this article I could not tell you much. However, look at for it, because it’s coming!

After doing some searching we were able to find another great zombie film coming up in late 2011. It’s called “Another World,” and it’s being released in Israel; however, it’s available to the English speaking public.

As for the storyline, the movie takes place in the post-apocalyptic future, in which, a biological warfare program goes wrong turning the entire landscape of Earth into a hellish nightmare with blood-sucking zombies.

However, like all zombie movies there are a few lucky survivors who attempt to survive. This movie, being no different, features 5 main characters that represent a different point of view. As for the characters, this is what you can expect:

Soldier: An ex-colonel who represents the rationale of a soldier. His main focus is on surviving at all costs. As a result, his patience is limited, and he quickly becomes infuriated with people who interfere with his survival.

Criminal: The criminal in this movie is an evil and sadistic person whose M.O. seems to be rape and murder. As a result, his existence makes the other survivors nervous, creating a sense of worry within the group.

Genius: This character seems to be the rationale of the group. A young man that parallels genius and had his entire life together. However, his scientific nature seems to get in the way of his survival.

Free-Spirit: This character is the one that most people will hate. The free-spirit that does anything she wants even if it puts the rest of the group in danger.

Doctor: The doctor is another mind-oriented person who rations consequences. However, his intelligence might get the better of him.

The storyline is quite simple: Danny Aharonovitch is the son of a legendary war hero. And as he soon finds out, living up to his father’s name is not going to be easy.

Forced to live scrub toilets and sinks with his tooth brush, Danny serves in the military as an assistant custodian. Weak, brittle, and sensitive, Danny is anything but cut out for the army.

Then on one fateful night, Danny’s life is about to change. An old schoolmate, Maya, whom Danny has a crush on, delivers vaccines to the army barracks. Shortly after, things go terribly wrong. One-by-one, soldiers turn into flesh-eating zombies who crave delectable brains.

Being the only one left alive, Danny must fight for his survival using what little army training he has.

If you’ve always thought of zombies as dim-witted creates that are only interested in one thing and one thing only: brains, then think again.

American Zombie follows two filmmakers, Grace Lee and John Solomon, as they document the lives of highly-functional zombies in the Los Angeles area.

Unbeknownst to most, zombies have a hard time gaining acceptance. Everywhere they go, they are shot at, discriminated against, and hated. And since zombies are already technically dead, the law does very little to protect them.

Luckily, this film paints a different picture of zombies, showing the more caring and gentle side.

As far as the storyline, the story revolves around a group of highly intelligent zombies that have started breeding humans for food: You’ve Been Warned. Once soldiers learn of this, they plan an all out-out war against the zombie elites.

As for the story, the film revolves around two lovers, Arbie and Wendy, who are departing for college. However, before they go, they decided to take a vow to stay faithful to each other.

One semester later, Arbie returns to his home town to find the ancient burial ground, where they made the vows, has been desecrated by a corporation resurrecting a franchised restaurant: American Chicken Bunker.

In addition, Wendy, his now ex-girlfriend, has turned into a liberal lesbian protesting the construction of the restaurant.

To exact his revenge, Arbie decides to take a job at the American Chicken Bunker. But as he soon finds out, this isn’t any average restaurant.

Slowly, customers are coworkers go missing, which leads Arbie on a manhunt that uncovers a horde of chicken zombies.

To save his life, Arbie must survive in a restaurant packed full of depraved zombie chickens that kill people in the worst way possible.
